“I would recommend Oak Leaf Academy to any parent who wants to know she’s leaving her child in the best hands when she walks out that door in the morning. Since beginning at Oak Leaf in the Toddler Room, our son Magnus has grown into a confident, curious student. His teachers work hard to understand his needs, respect his individuality, and look for ways to boost his confidence and challenge him. When I watch them interact with my son, it’s so clear that they care for him, and he’s crazy about them. Even better, it’s clear they love their jobs and know what they’re doing. There’s lots to love about Oak Leaf: I appreciate how thoughtfully teachers and staff keep me up to date on my son’s progress, and how creative they are about involving families. The facility is bright, cheerful, and clean. He’s excited to arrive and happy when I pick him up. I rest assured knowing he’s having fun, he’s learning, and he’s safe. I feel certain my son will move on from pre-K incredibly well prepared for kindergarten but that he will miss his lovely teachers and friends.”

“Picking the right daycare is a challenging and emotional decision – Oak Leaf made it easy. The staff is incredibly warm, accommodating and feel more like family than hired caregivers. We have 3 kids in the infant, toddler and pre-K rooms, and we truly feel as though each of our children and their unique developmental and educational needs are being met in spades. Our baby is getting tons of cuddles and socialization – not to mention exposure to art J; the toddler teachers practically potty-trained our 2yo themselves, and our pre-K daughter comes home wanting to practice reading/writing and science experiments (so cool). Parental communication is EXCELLENT, and as an added bonus, the fellow families are an amazing support network! We feel very lucky to have found such an exceptional daycare.”

“When researching for care for my 4 month old daughter, I was searching for the place that “just felt right”, I walked into Oak Leaf Academy and instantly felt just that. The children seemed happy and well taken care of, and the environment was clean and bright. I was impressed by the owners Melissa and JoAnn instantly. Not only were they knowledgeable, they answered my first-time-mom type questions with care. Since enrolling, we have been nothing short of pleased with our daughter’s care. The teachers are delightful and truly dedicated to the development of the children. The parent to staff communication, and availability of Melissa and JoAnn whenever needed, is such a comfort each day. I cannot recommend Oak Leaf Academy highly enough, we couldn’t be more grateful to have found them.
